'just because something is made up
doesn't mean that it's not real'
The production of an object always seems to be accompanied by the production of a story, a story about the circumstances under which the object was produced and about the connections between its motive, form and material. That story appears to be inseparably attached to the object as if the object carried it inside, mostly hidden or invisible. Following that image, it sometimes might be difficult to distinguish between the content and the vessel. I also tried to think about the story as something different and imagined a ghost that haunts an object. I thought that in both ideas there is a connection between an actual object and another layer of meaning that is invisibly present. Even if left aside, either ghost or story affect a room’s temperature.
